Billy Burrows and David Cummins launched this specialist retirement planning
firm in July 2009. The new business, based in central London, specialist
in advising individual and pension schemes on all aspects of retirement
planning including: annuities, pension drawdown, investment planning
and estate planning.

Billy is a founding partner of Burrows & Cummins and runs William Burrows
Annuities which provides advice to individual clients and pension schemes on all
aspects of annuities and drawdown.
His interest in annuities goes back to 1993 when he helped establish Annuity
Direct. In 1997 he set up William Burrows Annuities, and a year later
he was asked to join Prudential Annuities as their marketing director
for annuities. In 2001 William Burrows Annuities was reestablished in
partnership with Aspen (Actuaries and Pension Consultants) plc.
In 2007, following the sale of Aspen plc to Capita, William Burrows Annuities
became a trading name of MPL Wealth Management and in July 2009 WBA was
incorporated into the new partnership of Burrows & Cummins .
William Burrows Annuities is now recognised as one of the country's leading
annuity advisers and Billy regularly features in the national press and radio.

David founded Burrows & Cummins with Billy, launching the business in July 2009 and runs Burrows & Cummins on a day to day basis. He also has particular responsibility for the Secure & Well Service established in 2010.
David is a very experienced adviser having held management and senior adviser roles within a number of large national and independent adviser firms over the last 20 years.
He is a Chartered Financial Planner and specialises in holistic financial planning, helping clients to achieve ‘joined up financial thinking’ by providing an individually tailored Secure & Well Plan.

Duane was a senior consultant with Annuity Direct from 1997 to 2009 where
he was responsible on advising clients on all aspects of annuities.
Duane was delighted to be asked to work with Billy Burrows again, and he joined
Burrows & Cummins in July 2009, as a senior consultant.
